Federal Funding Sources

I created a list below of federal (grant-making) agencies that may be of interest to social workers and information professionals. If I missed an agency, please let me know!

  • Department of Agriculture (USDA)
  • Department of Commerce (DOC)
  • Department of Education (ED)
  • Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
  • Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
  • Department of Justice (DOJ)
  • Department of Labor (DOL)
  • Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS)
  • National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)
  • National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)
  • National Science Foundation (NSF)
Grants.gov is another great resource for federal grants.
